In the hands of the police are two women accused of stealing passengers at the airport “El. Venizelos”. According to the police, it is a 38-year-old and 36-year-old who are facing the charge of prominent thefts against co-operation and violation of the drug law. CORVERSE As emerged from the police investigation the two women from at least November 2024 and after their arrivals from internal flights, removed a total of eight passenger baggage from the baggage belts and moved them home to the Byron area. During the search at their home they were found and seized: Number of clothes and items in luggage (bags, wallets, footwear, hats, vision glasses), small quantity of raw cannabis, passport and money of EUR 90, 2,000 Kwanza Angola, 25 Leva Bulgaria, 80 Zloty Poland, 250 Rad South Africa, 30,050 rubles Russia and 20 Coron Sweden. “What the two ladies did is inconceivable because the venues are being watched with cameras,” the president of airport and Southeast Attica police officers Elias Vredas told ANT1.
