Green electricity tariffs saw a notable decline in March, mirroring the downward trend in wholesale market prices. On average, electricity tariffs fell from around 19 cents to approximately 15 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh).
DEH Leads the Decline
The Public Power Corporation (DEH) announced a reduction in its regulated tariff — now standing at 12.9 cents per kWh for the G1/N1 tariff’s first consumption zone, down from 13.9 cents in February.
Range of Reductions
Across the board, price cuts ranged between 7% and 34%, depending on the specific electricity product. The updated list of officially announced tariffs is available on the website of the Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAAEY).
