Speaking of his ERTNews, Deputy Minister Thanasis Kontogeorgis stressed: “Whenver the government has had to intervene, it has intervened, and so will it in December if necessary,” referring to the relevant statements of the Minister responsible at the beginning of November. In addition to interfering with current prices, Mr Kontogeorgis said about the capital ‘income increase’ that ‘real average income has increased more than any other European country’, but that, as he acknowledged, ‘is not fully collected by the citizens’ because of imported inflation and accuracy, and in general the cost of living, as he said. However, the State Secretary added that the budget reflects support for those in greater need, investment in policies supporting the middle class, public health, public education. He also pointed out the importance of debt repayment, as well as structural changes in the level of tax justice that “help us have resources for these policies”.
