Elections in Germany: Headway to Salts SPD give exit polls in Brandenburg

in

A foothold is shown by the exit poll in Brandenburg, where a battle was expected between the Social Democrats and the far-right Alternative for Germany. In particular the results from the polls outside the polling stations in the German state give the SPD 31% and AfD 30%. The 31% lead and polling overturn, gives the Social Democratic Party (SPD) the forecast result of the first German public television channel ARD for the Brandenburg election. Second force emerges just one unit back the Alternative for Germany (AfD), followed by 12% the Christian Democratic Party (CDU) and the newly formed Zara Vagenknecht Alliance (BSW). The Greens are right at the entry limit with 5%, while the Left is limited to 3%. The electoral law in the state of Brandenburg provides that if a party wins even one direct election of its candidate, it ensures its entry into parliament, regardless of the overall outcome. Social Democratic Party (SPD) : 31% Alternative for Germany (AfD) : 30% Christian Democratic Union (CDU): 12% Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) : 12% Green: 5%
