With local tours, open discussions, and party officials appearing in neighborhoods and cities across the country, the Hellenic Left Coalition (ELAS)—the new political party founded by former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras—is building its organizational presence on the ground. The ‘Now We Speak’ campaign has moved beyond central stages to prioritize direct engagement with citizens.

A Nationwide Outreach Begins

ELAS is launching a series of public events in Vyronas, Tripoli, Amaliada, and Kalamaria. The goal is to listen—to record public sentiment, citizen demands, and social concerns—while projecting an image of political mobility and accessibility. Party members are stepping into streets and community spaces, inviting residents to speak openly and take part in shaping the dialogue.

Upcoming Events

On 1 July 2026 at 8:00 p.m., ELAS will hold an event in Vyronas at the ‘Vyronas Politeia’ venue, located at 97 Konstantinoupoleos Street. Miltiadis Chatzigiannakis, Secretary-General of ELAS, will attend.

Later the same day at 7:30 p.m., the initiative continues in Tripoli at the ‘Skakiera’ venue in Klounatzidika. Spokesperson Theano Koufonikolakou and Public Administration Sector Leader Grigoris Theodorakis will be present.

On 2 July 2026 at 8:00 p.m., the tour moves to Amaliada at the ‘Theatraki Skakieras’. Dionysis Temponeras, ELAS’s Labour Sector Leader, and Deputy Health Sector Leader Giorgos Boumbasakos will participate.

Also on 2 July, at 7:00 p.m., a parallel event takes place in Kalamaria at the ‘Remezzo Theatraki’, featuring Nektaria Angelaki, Antonis Eleftheriadis, Aris Stylianou, and Miltos Toska.

These gatherings reflect ELAS’s broader effort to establish itself as a visible, responsive, and grounded political force—at a time when the party is working to build lasting organizational roots and cultivate a stable base of public support.
