International Recognition for Operational Excellence
EKO’s commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence was recently reaffirmed when three of its Aircraft Refuelling Stations—in Heraklion, Chania, and Rhodes—received the prestigious ‘Sustained Performance Award’ from the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), a leading global organisation for aviation fuel handling standards.
This award is granted only to facilities demonstrating consistently outstanding performance in operations, safety, and quality following rigorous official inspections. For 2025, just 43 refuelling stations worldwide received the award out of approximately 700 JIG-inspected sites—a testament to the exceptional operational standards maintained by EKO’s facilities.
