A strong 4.6 Richter earthquake occurred at 6:27 near Rhodes. According to the Geodynamic Institute the earthquake had a large focal depth. The analysis of the Geodynamic Institute states that the earthquake occurred north-east of Rhodes and was 4.6 Richter. The focal depth was 45.8 km.
