A TripAdvisorâ„¢ TripWow video of a travel blog to Katakolon, Greece by TravelPod blogger Sunnygurl. See this TripWow and more at tripwow.tripadvisor.com Stuck on a Ship “Hello All, So today I am in Katakolon, Greece. Katakolon is literally a village consisting of two streets. It is a port that was built specifically for the ships that come in to go see Olympia (where the first olympics were held…yea not exactly Athens). Olympia is about a 1/2 hour bus ride away. So we were only here for a few hours. Apparently Katakolon has great cafes to go for lunch, but it was my safety day so I had to stay onboard. The weather was great so I really wanted to go up and do a little tanning, however our big printer is leaking ink so we had a technician come in today. He was supposed to be here at 12 when we docked, so I had to hang out in my room waiting for Security to call me to say that he was here….needless to say the guy didn’t show up until 3…and then he mentions how he decided to go swimming first!! sheesh…did he not think that I had better things to be doing than watching tv? I actually watched the first half of the Chronicles of Narnia…much better than i expected. Maybe i’ll be able to catch the end later on. They have two channels that play current movies (well, movies that are recently on DVD), but they show 4 on each channel per day…and everyday the movies change. I also have a channel that plays CBS sitcoms (frasier, i love lucy, raymond, two and a half men etc
