A 40-year-old and a 26-year-old, both of Albanian descent and with a criminal past involving theft and drug trafficking, are behind the shooting of a young man—also of Albanian descent—outside a bar in Nea Poli ten days ago. The shootings appear to be connected to a drug trafficking case. The 40-year-old was arrested and brought before the Thessaloniki Primary Prosecution on Tuesday afternoon (18.03.25). He was subsequently referred to an investigating judge, where he received a deadline. It is known that he is being pursued for moral complicity and collaboration in an attempted murder charge. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old co-defendant, who is also believed to have fired the shots at the young man, remains at large. The victim was sitting with a friend outside the bar when he was shot. After receiving medical treatment, he was discharged within the last 24 hours.
