The PAOK fans were also en route to Athens for their futsal team’s game against Ermis Zografou and had already stopped there. As soon as the AEK fan bus passed, they attacked it with chairs, breaking windows and injuring at least four people. By 9:00 PM, all AEK fans from Trikala had been questioned, followed by the PAOK supporters. After 9:30 PM, two buses carrying 45 and 29 PAOK fans arrived at the police station. The 29 individuals have been identified, and their detention is expected to result in arrests for fan violence. Searches and detentions continue, with more arrests possible. A large-scale police operation has mobilized significant forces from four regions, including emergency reinforcements from Levadeia where measures were being taken for a local match, as well as elite units from YAT (Restoration of Order Division) and Evia. Adjacent OPKE teams and highway police units participated effectively in the manhunt on national and provincial roads.
