Donald Trump’s inauguration predicted the lowest temperature for 40 years – Bad news for guests

In the American capital Washington temperatures are stuck for days under zero and in its Monday (20.01. 25) weather conditions may be the coldest than in any other such ceremony for decades. Although it is not expected to be as cold as when Ronald Reagan swore for the second time, in 1985, when noon temperature was – 14° Celsius, according to the American weather service (NWS), Donald Trump’s highest temperature on Monday, inauguration day is predicted to be –6° Celsius and the feeling even lower. CORVERSE Traditionally, inauguration takes place outside, on the west side of the federal Capitol. According to the NWS records, the “usual” high temperature on the day of the inauguration of the US president is 7° Celsius and the low – 1° Celsius. At noon it generally varies around 3° Celsius. For many of the guests, this is not exactly good news: they must have sat in their seats long before the inauguration began. Donald Trump has been sarcastically wondering, in cold waves, what happened to that global warming. Because of the excessive low temperature in 1985, it was preferred that the oath be done indoors. It took place in Rotunda, Capitol Hall. It was the lowest temperature any day of presidential inauguration since records began to be kept, in 1871, always during NWS.
