Donald Trump Criticizes Israel and Iran Amid Ceasefire Violations

In a stern message to both Israel and Iran, following the ceasefire violations that both sides had previously agreed upon, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his frustration before departing Washington for The Hague, Netherlands, where he will participate in the NATO summit. In a post on Truth Social, Trump emphasized, “Israel, don’t drop those bombs. If you do, it will be a serious violation. Bring your pilots back, now!” His aim is to prevent a forceful response from Israel after the ceasefire. Speaking to reporters, the U.S. president stated he is neither “happy” with Israel nor Iran, highlighting that he is “truly upset” with Israel. “Peace must be achieved in the Middle East. Israel needs to calm down; I need to make Israel calm down,” he added. Characteristically, Trump remarked, “Israel and Iran have been fighting so long and so hard they don’t know what the hell they’re doing.” At 10:30 AM (Greek time), sirens sounded again in northern Israel.
