Amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, former U.S. President Donald Trump is celebrating what he describes as ‘monumental destruction’ at Iran’s nuclear facilities. Speaking on Truth Social, Trump claimed that all Iranian nuclear installations have suffered significant damage, referring to it as ‘absolute obliteration.’ Satellite images allegedly confirm the extent of the devastation, with the most severe damage occurring below ground level. Despite these claims, top administration officials have assured that U.S. military involvement does not aim for regime change in Tehran. Earlier, Trump appeared to advocate for such a shift, questioning why there shouldn’t be a regime change if the current Iranian government cannot restore its former glory. Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth also stated that the U.S. had effectively erased Iran’s nuclear program. Today, President Trump will meet with his national security team to discuss the ongoing conflict with Iran, according to the White House.
