Do you have slow WiFi in your house? The solutions for the ‘chamber’ signal

It offers wireless internet connection, allowing devices such as mobile phones, computers and tablets to connect to networks without needing cables. WiFi technology allows data transmission via radio waves, providing users with the ability to browse the internet, download files, play online games, watch videos or movies, and listen to their favorite music. CORVERSE But it has happened to all of us at least once to stick to the WiFi signal, and the film we enjoy being cut abruptly. The first move we make is to head to the router (router) to check whether the LED lights are on firmly or some damage has occurred. Most of the time this is an instant network problem, which is why we usually restart the router with the button (on/off). But when the connection returns, the speed is slow again and we have a ‘bad’ signal. I wonder what’s wrong? Let’s see together some useful instructions that you can follow to have better WiFi in your home. Place the router in an elevated position, e.g. on a locker or shelf, to achieve greater signal range. If you have placed your router in a distant corner of the house, then the power of the signal is reduced. The signal is more powerful at closer distances, so you should reduce the distance between the router and any connected device. Therefore, the ideal location for router is a central location (e.g. the center of your home). Avoid placing the router near windows, so that the signal is not lost outside your space. Remove items, especially metal, in front or next to the router, so that the WiFi signal is not blocked. Whether it is a metal shelf, refrigerator, or water heater, the large metal objects reflect and “absorption” the WiFi signal, creating “dead zones”. If the router is right next to a metal object, this dead zone could be a whole wing of our house. And when we talk about metal objects, we refer to those we do not see (e.g. metal pipes inside the wall, a steel security door covered with wooden veneer). In addition, both elevators and televisions can create interference. So make sure to place your router at least 5 meters away from other electronic items and especially from the microwave, so that no interference is created when heating your food. At the same time, water can block the WiFi signal because it is more dense than air, and especially the large amount of water (e.g. aquarium). Place the router, away from wireless transmission sources such as wireless phones and intercom devices, because they may create interference with your signal. If the router has one or more antennas, move them in different directions, aiming at the points where you want to improve the signal. At the same time, the router must have the orientation for which it is designed. If it is intended for horizontal placement, avoid putting it vertically into a library or hanging it vertically against the wall. Internal antennas are pre-positioned to provide optimal coverage, but deflecting the router angle can cause problems in signal power. Use signal expansion/covering devices (powerline adapters, repeaters, extenders), always bearing the indication “CE”, at the points where the signal is weak. If the router has no setting for automatically optimal channel selection, try selecting channel with less use. Change your default router passwords and set a new powerful password to protect your home network in case someone tries to use your connection. You often change your password. Restart the router button on/off at regular intervals.
