Dionysis Schoinas: Extrajudicial Notice from Nightclub Owner Demanding €60,000

In a recent development, Dionysis Schoinas, husband of Kaiti Garmpi, was served with an extrajudicial notice by a nightclub owner demanding the return of €60,000 in advance payments. This came after Schoinas left his collaboration with George Mazonakis in 2022, citing non-compliance from the business side as the reason for his departure. The nightclub owner responded strongly to Schoinas’ statements, highlighting that the issue is not about personal grievances but rather the failure of Schoinas and Garmpi to return the €60,000 they had received as advances. The matter will be addressed in court on October 26 at the Athens Court of Appeals. The owner emphasized that it would be commendable if Schoinas and his wife returned the funds when showcasing their so-called revolutionary character. Journalist Fai Skorda concluded that everyone has the right to conduct their work and set boundaries as they see fit, while legal representatives can send extrajudicial notices based on their beliefs about what may stand in court.
