Dendias: Greece is ready to support Moldova’s European perspective

Its European course will be beneficial not only for itself but also for stability in the region, said the Foreign Minister

The will of Greece to have strong relations with Moldova, based on historical ties and traditionally friendly relations, but also the support of its European course, was expressed by Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias.

Starting his statement, Nikos Dendias noted that their meeting today was the second in just three months and comparing the frequency of contacts today with the past, said that this fact underlines the importance that Greece attaches to its relationship with Moldova.

Regarding the cooperation of the two countries in the framework of international organizations, Nikos Dendias said that they co-operate closely and expressed gratitude for Moldova’s support for Greece’s candidacy for a seat on the UN Security Council.
