The Public Power Corporation (DEI) has launched two new solar energy solutions: DEI myEnergy SolarSmart for households and DEI myEnergy SolarSmartPro for businesses. These are fully integrated photovoltaic (PV) systems designed to meet growing customer demand for immediate energy savings.
Responding to the need for accessible, low-barrier solar adoption, DEI introduces a new approach to rooftop PV in Greece. Households and businesses with annual electricity consumption exceeding 8,500 kWh can now benefit from solar power without bearing any equipment cost—and with a low activation fee.
Customers make no upfront capital investment. Instead, the system’s cost is covered by the energy it generates on their roof, billed at a fixed, personalized rate (€/kWh) locked in for 10 years.
Digital Monitoring via DEI myEnergy Coach
Both solutions integrate seamlessly with DEI’s digital platform, myEnergy Coach. Through this app-based service, DEI customers can monitor their PV system’s real-time energy production, track building-level electricity consumption, and receive personalized recommendations to optimize their energy behavior.
