The trial of Peter Philippidis continues, with the actor arriving at the Court of First Instance on Wednesday morning (04.06.2025) accompanied by his two lawyers but choosing to remain silent to the press. Today, defense witnesses for the renowned actor will be examined, including notable figures such as Kiki Pakiridou. Michalis Dimitrakopoulos, speaking to television cameras, explained that the testimonies of these witnesses would shed light on the personality of the accused, which differs from the portrayal presented by prosecution witnesses.

“Other actors will also testify. We have requested many witnesses; we are not exactly sure who will attend. It is a day where witnesses will primarily illuminate the character of Peter Philippidis, which bears no resemblance to the image crafted by the prosecution’s witnesses. Additionally, other dark aspects of the case will come to light, such as how accusations were fabricated against actors through the Union of Greek Actors,” stated Michalis Dimitrakopoulos.

“The witnesses are individuals who have personally experienced what they will testify about and possess documented evidence, which they will present to the court to demonstrate how false rape allegations were made when, in reality, nothing of the sort occurred. This is the crucial point we expect to prove,” added Philippidis’s lawyer.

“No surprises regarding the identities of those defending the actor,” emphasized Dimitrakopoulos when questioned again about the names of the individuals supporting Philippidis in court. “What matters is that the plaintiffs have no witnesses or substantial evidence,” said Kiki Pakiridou.

Reporters approached the actor seeking a statement about the upcoming witnesses in court, but Philippidis chose to remain silent. Accused of two attempted rapes, Peter Philippidis did not utter a word to the press.
