Development Law Investment Deadlines Extended

Deadline Extended to July 24 for Three Investment Schemes Under Greece’s Development Law

in

The submission deadline for investment proposals under three key schemes of Greece’s Development Law — ‘Large Investments’, ‘Areas of Special Support’, and ‘Manufacturing’ — has been extended to July 24, 2026. The decision was announced by Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos.

Additional Time for Investors

The extension provides businesses and investors with extra time to prepare and submit their applications under the Development Law framework. This move aims to support thorough project planning and strengthen the quality of submissions.

Strategic Focus of the Schemes

These three schemes continue to attract strong market interest due to their significant incentives for investment in strategic economic sectors.

The ‘Large Investments’ scheme targets high-budget projects with substantial economic impact. The ‘Areas of Special Support’ initiative focuses on boosting entrepreneurship in regions facing developmental challenges. Meanwhile, the ‘Manufacturing’ scheme supports investment plans that modernize Greece’s productive base and enhance the competitiveness of Greek enterprises.
