Cyprus: 70.3% of the adult population fully vaccinated against coronavirus

76.6% have received the first dose

According to the Ministry of Health of Cyprus and data regarding the course of vaccinations until Saturday, August 14, 2021, the corresponding percentage of full vaccination coverage in the EU is 62.4%.

In terms of the percentage of people who received at least the first dose and is at 76.6%, the goal is to reach 80% by the end of August. Respectively, in the EU the percentage is 73%.

For 16- to 17-year-olds, the full vaccination rate is 22.3%, while 32% have received the first dose.

Finally, the population group of 12-15 years has received the first dose at a rate of 8.6%, as vaccinations began on August 2, and at present, only the first dose has been administered.
