Cyprus: Reserved the court of appeal in the decision for the 22χρονου Συλλούρη

penalty imposed on the πρωτόδικο court for causing a fatal accident. His lawyer, Christos Christofides, relied on eight grounds to support his appeal, while showing that the πρωτόδικο court took into account the mitigating facts in his decision for the sentencing of the 22χρονου.
Mr Christofides, made special reference to the point where there was a rolling, repeating the position that Kyriakos Συλλούρης, due to the nature of the road and parked car, I had visibility to the left.
In parallel, referred to the fact that there has been no serious consideration of the consequences of the penalty to his client, after he had planned to leave for studies abroad.
On his part, the spokesman of the General Prosecutor Nikos Dimitriadis, who appeared with Christina Themistocleous, replied to all the points ηγέρθηκαν and referred to the finding of the πρωτόδικου court that he had not contributed to the 26-year-old the challenge of the deadly accident.
As is known, the crash occurred on 21 September 2013 and resulted in the death of our 26 year old Sebastian Petros Καραπατέα. Kyriakos Συλλούρης was sentenced on September 22, 2016 to one year’s imprisonment, after he was found guilty by the court for causing death by negligence.
On September 21, 2013 Kyriakos Συλλούρης was a driver of a vehicle struck in the intersection, a motorcycle driven by 26-year-old Sebastian Petros Καραπατέας, wounding him mortally. It is noted that the last procedure she attended both the family of the President of the Parliament, and the bereaved mother of a victim, while intense was the presence of the Police.
