Tsavousoglou: Turkey has no hidden agenda in Cyprus

Turkey has no hidden agenda in Cyprus, said Mevlut Tsavousoglou, again criticizing the Greek Cypriots that they do not want to share the administration and wealth with the Turkish Cypriots and that is why no solution has been found in the Cyprus issue for years.

Regarding the Cyprus issue, he said that the Greek Cypriots do not want to share power and wealth with the Turkish Cypriots and that is why the negotiations for years have led nowhere.

For Mr. Tsavousoglou, the only logical way to achieve progress in the Cyprus issue is a two-state solution based on sovereign equality.

His country, he added, supported from the beginning a fair, permanent, and sustainable solution in Cyprus and contributed in this direction together with the Turkish Cypriots in the international efforts made for this purpose.
