In an adorable escapade, two young bear cubs managed to break out of the Wildwood Devon zoo in the UK on Monday (June 23, 2025), running straight to a nearby honey store. The four-year-old cubs, named Mister and Louisa, escaped their enclosed area and headed directly for their favorite treat. According to a zoo representative, they indulged in various products, including a week’s worth of honey, before returning safely to their enclosure less than an hour later, accompanied by zoo staff. At no point did they pose any threat to the public, though visitors were temporarily gathered indoors as a precaution. The entire escape was closely monitored via surveillance cameras and on-site teams. After enjoying their ‘feast,’ Mister and Louisa returned and peacefully went back to sleep in their secure area. An investigation is underway to determine how the duo managed to escape. Spanning 160 acres of land and forest, Wildwood Devon specializes in native British species, housing wolves, deer, lynxes, reptiles, and birds.
