Criminal prosecutions against those arrested for the brothel protection circuit – another police officer sought

The Athens District Attorney’s Office today (11.01.2025) prosecuted a criminal offence and a misdemeanor for a number of criminal offences which are directed against the 19 arrested in the case of the circuit which through virtual companies sold casino protection by participating in the case and perjury. At the expense of those arrested for the protection circuit in brothels, criminal prosecution was exercised on a case-by-case basis for direction, inclusion and establishment of a criminal organisation, distinguished fraud against the public over EUR 120,000 against co-operation and continuing, bribery, bribery against co-operation, laundering of dirty money, illegal arms, illegal possession of flares and flares, possession of drugs for own use. CORVERSE The charge of directing a criminal organization is directed at three defendants, aged 58, 55 and 37. The four police officers face the charge of bribery while another is being sought. Police officers are also charged with violating service secrecy, violating duty and providing service contrary to the position and duties of the police officer. CORVERSE Criminal prosecution was also brought against persons who have not been arrested on a case-by-case basis for carrying out gambling and pimpling. The defendants were indicted before an investigator from whom they are expected to request and receive a deadline to apologize in the following days.
