Crete: Couple Arrested After Engaging in Live Quarrel on TikTok

A domestic incident broadcast live yesterday (14.03.2025) triggered significant police mobilization. According to zarpanews.gr, a couple—later found under the influence of substances—was arguing inside a house in Heraklion, Crete, with their underage daughter present, while livestreaming on TikTok. The event, escalating into shouting, gestures, slaps, and threats, was streamed from another account and noticed by a friend of the woman residing in Lefkada. Through a complaint filed with the Lefkada police, the authorities in Crete were alerted and swiftly responded, arresting both individuals on the spot. The suspects are a 27-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man, who are a couple. The man’s daughter, who witnessed the incident, is temporarily staying with her uncle. Legal proceedings have been initiated.
