Two 20-year-olds were injured in a serious crash that occurred early Thursday morning (March 27, 2025) on Poseidonos Avenue. According to reports, the accident happened around 1 a.m., when under unclear conditions, the vehicle, driven by a 20-year-old without a driver’s license, lost control near Terpsichore Street and collided with a pole. The impact trapped the driver inside the car, requiring firefighters to intervene for his extraction. The collision was so severe that the engine ended up several feet away from the vehicle. The driver sustained minor injuries, while his 20-year-old passenger was thrown out of the car and suffered more serious injuries, including severe lacerations across her body. It is currently being investigated whether she was wearing a seatbelt. Shockingly, the 20-year-old driver did not possess a valid driver’s license and has been subjected to an alcohol test.
