The total number of cases in Russia since the beginning of the pandemic reached 6.663.473.
The government’s pandemic service said 799 deaths had been reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 172.909.
The Federal Statistical Office in its own separate count has recorded 315.000 deaths related to Covid-19 in the period from April 2020 to June 2021.
