Costas Simitis: The touching farewell of the driver and his bodyguard

His partner and for years his driver and bodyguard, Thanasis Filipopoulos, says goodbye to him. In his social media post Thanasis Filipopoulos referring to former Prime Minister Costas Simitis writes among others that the journey did so without asking him and did not even say hello… “This journey you chose to leave without asking me without having planned, you had never done it. So suddenly… You didn’t even say hello. The vast universe embraces you, your decision, I’m too small to judge… Thank you, President! A DEATH 05/01/2025…” states features in his posting. The funeral of former Prime Minister Costas Simitis will take place on January 9th, at 12:00, in the Metropolis of Athens.
