COSMOTE TELEKOM has introduced updated roaming packages for travel outside the European Union, offering lower daily rates and more data — starting from just €3.90. The new offerings are available to all customers, including individuals, businesses, and users on contract, prepaid, hybrid (card-contract), and COSMOTE NEO plans.
Updated COSMOTE Travel Pass & New Roaming Now Packages
The refreshed COSMOTE Travel Pass service delivers even lower roaming charges for COSMOTE TELEKOM contract customers traveling beyond the EU. Users can now use their plan’s voice minutes, SMS, and data allowances as if they were in Greece — across more than 120 countries worldwide. Daily fees have been reduced depending on the destination zone: in Zone A (which includes popular destinations like the USA, Canada, UAE, and Australia), the daily rate drops to €5.95 from €7.69; in Zone B (including countries such as China, India, and Brazil), it falls to €9.95 from €14.29.
Meanwhile, the newly enhanced Roaming Now packages offer larger data volumes and extended validity periods for internet access abroad. In Zone A, options include:
- €3.90 for 1 GB valid for 3 days
- €6.90 for 2 GB valid for 7 days
- €11.90 for 5 GB valid for 15 days
In Zone B, packages are:
- €8.90 for 1 GB valid for 3 days
- €15.90 for 2 GB valid for 7 days
- €19.90 for 3 GB valid for 15 days
Scheduled Activation via COSMOTE TELEKOM App
COSMOTE TELEKOM has also added a new feature allowing customers to schedule the activation of Roaming Now packages directly through the COSMOTE TELEKOM App. This means travelers can purchase their preferred package before departure and set a future activation date — ensuring seamless connectivity upon arrival at their destination, with no further action required. Within the app, users can easily browse, compare, and activate the roaming solution best suited to their trip.
