Her, with Telekom’s power, as part of the #EQUESPORTS initiative, supports women and enables them to pursue their dream and become eSports Pro Players. Through a full-day League of Legends (LoL) gaming tournament, which will take place on 3 December in 4 COSMOTE stores in Athens and Thessaloniki, it enables 3 winners to win from a spot at the eSports Player Foundation Bootcamp (EPF), to be held in Frankfurt 14-20 December and highlights the greatest gaming talents. The women’s tournament 1v1 League of Legends (LoL) will take place on 3 December at COSMOTE stores in Glyfada, The Mall Athens, Ilion and Thessaloniki (central), from 10.30 a.m. to 8.00 p.m., in specially designed spaces with advanced gaming equipment. Three winners will experience a unique experience at the Esports Player Foundation Bootcamp. The Esports Player Foundation Bootcamp, in addition to gaming skills also focuses on nutrition, gymnastics and mental health. As part of the Bootcamp, the top player will also win a one-year sponsorship by Esports Player Foundation and Telekom to become a professional esports pro player. Telekom’s #EQUALESPORTS initiative Telekom, a member of which is COSMOTE, promoting the culture of equality in esports and gaming, enables everyone to form part of an inclusive set, with digital education and equality seminars for gamers and parents, in collaboration with the Esports Player Foundation. At the same time, along with SK Gaming, Telekom created the women’s LoL team “SK Avarosa”, which won the Equal eSports Cup in 2023. In fact, SK Gaming Avarosa team attended Athens for GAMEATHLON powered by GERMANOS, on the 22-24 November Olympic arena Tae-Kwon-Do. Visitors to the big gaming event had the opportunity to get to know the team in person in special Booth, enjoy them in on stage LoL 5V5 Matches and learn more about gaming, but also the #EQUIALESPORTS initiative.
