How to request a correction
Use our contact page. Include the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, the proposed correction, and any supporting evidence or authoritative source.
How we handle corrections
We assess the substance and significance of the issue. When a material factual error is confirmed, we update the article. Significant changes may be explained in a correction or update note. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or style changes may be made without a note when they do not alter the meaning.
Updates and removal requests
A developing story may be updated as new information becomes available. We do not normally remove accurate published material solely because it is inconvenient, but we consider privacy, safety, legal obligations, and exceptional public-interest circumstances.
