Coronavirus: New negative case record for Finland

Finland today recorded a record number of new cases of coronavirus in one day, due to the highly contagious Delta mutation.

The total number of 1.024 new cases exceeded the record recorded in March this year, while hospitalizations are also increased.

To date, the country of 5.5 million people has recorded 109.983 cases and 995 deaths. Currently, 83 people are being treated for COVID-19.

More than 82% of Finns have received at least one dose of the vaccine and more than 48% are fully vaccinated against Covid-19, according to data from the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
