An alarm was raised at the Fire Brigade on Tuesday afternoon (08.04.2025), following a call about possible smoke emanating from a building in central Corinth. The firefighting forces were alerted to the potential fire and immediately mobilized, rushing to the building located opposite the Corinth City Hall, which houses a company. Immediately, two vehicles from the Corinth Fire Service arrived at the scene, where after inspection, they identified the floor from which the smoke was originating. According to reports, they found waste materials (papers) and discarded cigarettes in the hallway, as reported by Korinthostv.gr. The fire was quickly extinguished without any issues and before there was any risk of further spread.
