The historian of Trikkaion Constantine Papastergiou, one of the leading personalities of Constantine Papastergios who died at the age of 93, left the seal in Trikala and was elected four times as mayor of Trikkaion. CORVERSE Born at the Gate in 1931 Constantine Papastergiou finished a Civil Engineer at the National Technical University, first among his fellow students. On the same day of his graduation he was hired by the Professor of E.B.P. Pericles Paraskevopoulos and was placed as rural construction worker in the earthquake-stricken area of Magnesia. In 1964 he was elected Municipal Councillor of the Combination, late Mayor John Matis and in 1966 he was elected president of the City Council until early June 1967, when he resigned. In March 1975 he was first elected Mayor of Triccaeans in charge of a superparty combination. In 1978 he was re-elected Mayor and after two defeats, in 1990, he was elected for the 3rd time mayor and in 1994-1998 he was re-elected for the 4th time the city of Trikala as mayor. He repeatedly served as President of the TEDK of Trikala Prefecture and a member of the Board of Directors of KEDE. He was the father of Digital Governance Minister Dimitris Papastergiou, lawyer Vassilis Papastergiou and Professor Marina Papastergiou.
