He was found guilty by an Irish court for and beating a woman, with the well-known UFC martial arts athlete being called upon to pay $250,000 compensation. Connor McGregor in recent years was facing serious charges from Nikita Hunt, who accused him of rape and abuse at a Dublin hotel in 2018. The Irish athlete denied everything, and despite the Irish Public Prosecution Director’s decision not to file criminal charges against him, Hunt sought damages to the Dublin Supreme Court. Connor McGregor, testifying to the court argued that his sexual contact with her at the hotel was consensual and also denied hitting her. Like this and after eight days of testimony, the court found McGregor guilty of rape and beating, with the former UFC champion having to pay Hunt the $250,000 in compensation.
