The latest meeting took place in Thessaloniki, organized by the Ministry of National Defense. The next round of discussions will be held in Turkey. According to an official announcement from the Hellenic Ministry of National Defense: “Today, Monday, April 28, 2025, a new round of meetings between delegations from Greece and Turkey took place in Thessaloniki as part of the Confidence-Building Measures. The event was organized by the Greek Ministry of National Defense. The delegations included Ambassadors, senior and top-ranking military officers, and other officials from both countries. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the implementation of the mutually agreed Confidence-Building activities for 2025 and discussed the planning of activities for 2026. The meeting was conducted in a good atmosphere, with the next session scheduled to take place in Turkey.”
