Confession in Lamia: ‘I Stabbed Him After Learning He Assaulted My Mother’

The perpetrator of the murder of a 59-year-old entrepreneur finally confessed, saying, “I stabbed him.” The victim was found dead inside his café. Following the discovery, authorities quickly traced the 42-year-old suspect using security camera footage from the area. Initially, he denied involvement but admitted to having an altercation with the victim the night before the murder. However, as evidence mounted—thanks to clothes and shoes found during a search of his home—he had no choice but to confess. He told police that he acted after learning the victim had assaulted his mother, who had passed away just 40 days prior. Furthermore, during a raid on his house yesterday (June 23, 2025), officers discovered an arsenal including 76 knives, a hatchet, three handmade knife blades, a fake gun, handcuffs, and two additional mobile phones.
