The Athens Concert Hall welcomes for the second consecutive year pianist Vivian Brenta and her students on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 1 PM in the ‘Giannis Marinis’ hall. The concert titled “Once Upon a Time… the Piano” continues the success of last year’s acclaimed concert, “Sound and Colors,” which received glowing reviews. Young pianists from Aegina and Athens will once again take audiences into the magical world of the piano—an instrument that Brenta not only adores but has successfully instilled a love for in all her students. This is an auditory journey involving technique, memory, experimentation, expression, and emotional delivery, nurturing both mental and spiritual health. The young pianists will spread their wings and soar to new musical horizons within the iconic Megaro Moussikis. Special guest this year is Vania Papadimitriou, a dynamic member of the National Orchestra of Athens’ cello section. Attendees will enjoy performances ranging from solo pieces to duets, trios, choral works, piano and cello collaborations—all under the artistic direction of Vivian Brenta.
