In a recent interview with the show “You Haven’t Seen Anything Yet” and journalist Fani Platsatoura, popular actor Christos Valavanidis opened up about his past misunderstanding with Alexandros Riga. He stated, “Yes, we misunderstood each other because I felt he was trying to teach me how to sing.” Addressing the incident that caused tension in their working relationship, Valavanidis explained, “When someone offends my personality, I can’t tolerate it. It’s over, and I don’t want to dwell on it since we resolved our differences eventually. With Alexandros Riga, it was simply a misunderstanding as I felt he was attempting to teach me something about singing, an area where I already have clear expertise. Due to these attempts, I grabbed my hat and left.” He added, “We reconciled because no one should harbor so much negativity inside. And yes, the young man has immense talent. He may lack certain methods, but he’s gradually finding them.” Valavanidis emphasized that he doesn’t shy away from being sharp or critical when matters offend his aesthetics or intellect.
