It may offer courier services to the “last mile” but, in the company’s DNA, founded within the pandemic, in 2021, is technology. As quoted in an interview at newssit.gr, Christos Papadropoulos, Director of Box Now Marketing, the selection of points where the company locks are placed is based on special software that takes into account, among other things, the mileage of consumers from the lockers, as well as whether they are available. CORVERSE The company plans in 2025 to expand its activities to some of the largest Greek islands, such as Rhodes, Santorini, Syros, Chios and Kefalonia, while, for a year now, it has been present in Crete, Corfu, Lefkada and Salamina. Outside Greece, Box Now seeks to strengthen its presence in Cyprus where it has been active for the past year and a half. The Box Now network consists of 2,400 lockers and 120,000 lockers, with its expansion based on criteria related to the population of an area and of course the degree of safety of the facilities. The aim of the company is within the year the number of slots to be made to 150,000. From 2021 until now, Box Now has invested about 35m euros in Greece and Cyprus , while the company plans 4-5m euros in the next year. CORVERSE Last year, compared to 2024, the company achieved an eight-fold increase in its turnover and tripled its traded parcels and employees whose number is set at 300. In Box Now a minority percentage has the investment arm of the Olympia PCP Group Public Capital Partners, while a majority shareholder is EMMA Capital. The company delivers the next working day across mainland Greece, with 150 daily routes. It has 8 distribution centers in Greece and 1 hub in Cyprus. Box Now offers delivery services to more than 4,000 businesses and platforms such as Temu, Public, Intersport, Index Greece, Galerie de Beaute, Celestino, Funky Buddha, Box, Hondos Center and Vinted.
