Christos Mantakas spoke about both his external appearance and artistic return during a recent interview with journalist Olga Laphazani on the Happy Day show aired on Alpha TV. ‘The return after a rather long break, which I took myself, wasn’t easy, but I didn’t feel anxious because I love my work. The audience knows me, and so do the professionals in the industry. I believe my comeback will be smooth,’ Mantakas admitted initially. Regarding his role as ‘Astéris’ in ‘Kafé tis Charás’, he expressed gratitude to Charis Roma for offering him the part. However, Mantakas mentioned that despite their attempt to collaborate again on the remake, he had certain obligations preventing further cooperation. He described Charis as an incredible individual. Additionally, Mantakas confessed that he has always been cautious about his image since childhood, avoiding any scandals. His public persona somewhat hindered his career due to high expectations from many people, which sometimes can act as a negative obstacle.
