Christos Kougiyas Clarifies Inheritance of Alexis Kougiyas: No Will Exists

Christos Kougiyas, the eldest son of renowned criminologist Alexis Kougias, has stepped forward to clarify recent publications regarding his father’s inheritance and whether a will was left behind. According to the 23-year-old, he and his sister Maira are the sole heirs ex intestate, as their father did not leave a will. In a social media post on Tuesday (11-03-2025), Christos explained that Alexis Kougias intentionally avoided drafting a will to ensure that only immediate family members would inherit his estate. The siblings will also be responsible for settling various debts associated with the estate. Evi Batidou, the former wife of Alexis Kougias, reportedly received nothing from the inheritance, a decision unsurprising given their strained relationship following their highly publicized divorce years ago.
