In his statements, Mr. Christodoulidis referred to the diplomatic efforts that preceded the statement of the Security Council, saying:
“The effort continues at both UN and EU level. I consider it worth mentioning the support of our positions by a significant number of Security Council States as well as the activation of our partners from the region, which resulted in significant changes from the first draft in the final result “.
Regarding the next steps of the Republic of Cyprus against the Turkish provocation, Mr. Christodoulidis points out:
“The effort continues using all the means at our disposal.”
