Closed will remain schools, airports and other public means of transport in the south ahead of the “Yagi” which is to be hit tomorrow (06.09.2024) several areas of the country. The Hong Kong Express airline announced that it postponed 6 flights, while the new Greater Bay Airlines company cancelled 4 and reprogrammed 2. “Yagi will keep the tension super-type and bypass Hong Kong about 300 km southwest (of the city) tomorrow morning”, announced the Hong Kong Observatory. After the super typhoon passes China, it will then head towards Vietnam and threaten the northern regions of the country, near the Bay of Halong that has entered the List of World Heritage Sites of Unesco. Vietnam’s weather service issued an alarm today and over 2,700 military personnel have been mobilized as Yagi approaches.
