Child Benefit A21: When is the Next Payment and What About the Prepaid Card?

in

On Friday, May 30, 2025, the next payment for the Child Benefit A21 will be made with a significant change. Specifically, the next installment of the Child Benefit A21 will be credited to a prepaid card and paid on the last working day of the month. The amount of the benefit varies according to the annual family income. Each beneficiary of one or more benefits will be assigned a unique prepaid card, which will exclusively be used for the payment of all their social allowances. For the first and second child, the monthly amount is €70, €42, or €28. From the third child onward, the amount increases to €140, €84, or €56 per month. It is reminded that the platform for Child Benefit A21 is open and will accept new applications until April 30, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Beneficiaries can submit their application via the relevant portal or through Taxisnet using personal access codes. The entitled amount will be calculated based on the dependent children declared in the 2025 A21 application and the total family income from the 2023 tax year. In the A21 application, it is mandatory to enter the details of the School Unit, the grade, and the Enrollment Number of the child attending compulsory education. If all student data cross-checks successfully, the application can proceed normally. If not, a related notification will appear, and the applicant must attach the necessary documentation to the electronic A21 application. To complete the application, it must be finally submitted and approved. An application saved temporarily is considered not submitted and will not be taken into account.
