Unbelievable scenes unfolded aboard a flight from Warsaw to Chania on the evening of Monday, 22 June 2026, when two women sparked major disruption — including assaulting a police officer.
The incident occurred mid-flight, when two Belarusian women, aged 45 and 47, began causing disturbances among passengers and crew. They smoked inside the aircraft, ignored crew instructions, and shouted repeatedly — violating standard safety and conduct protocols.
Authorities at Ioannis Daskalogiannis Airport in Chania were alerted, and officers waited for the plane’s arrival to intervene. Upon landing, however, one of the women entered an agitated, uncontrolled state — kicking and striking an officer so violently that he suffered a broken arm and was rushed to the General Hospital of Chania.
Both women were subsequently arrested.
