Eight tourists and two crew members narrowly escaped drowning after their professional tourist boat ran aground on rocks near the Agii Apostoli area in Chania, Crete. Emergency Response
Local authorities responded swiftly: a Hellenic Coast Guard patrol vessel and two private boats rushed to the scene. All eight passengers were safely rescued by a passing vessel and transported to the historic Venetian Harbour of Chania.
