A family in Chania is experiencing indescribable grief as a woman, mother of three children, was found hanged. The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon (June 24, 2025) in Koundoura, within the municipality of Kantanos-Selinou. The 56-year-old woman was found deceased in an olive tree located in a children’s playground in the area. According to information from neakriti.gr, the woman was found hanged using shoelaces.
