Chania: Car and Motorcycle Collision – 20-Year-Old Hospitalized with Serious Injuries

A serious accident occurred in Crete yesterday (04.07.2025), resulting in two injured individuals being transported to the hospital. According to reports from cretapost, the accident took place on Friday afternoon on the National Road of Chania-Kissamos, near the exit for Vamvakopoulo, where a car collided with a motorcycle, injuring both riders. Panic ensued at the scene, with passing drivers alerting emergency services. Two ambulances arrived promptly and picked up a 20-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man. Both were taken to the hospital, where doctors found that the young woman sustained severe injuries to her pelvis and required surgical intervention. Meanwhile, the 33-year-old suffered orthopedic injuries. It is worth noting that the Traffic Police of BOAK are investigating the incident to determine its exact causes.
