A serious accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, 3 July 2026, in Chalandri—a northern suburb of Athens—when a teenage boy fell from a hotel balcony.
According to initial reports, the 17-year-old British national fell from the first-floor balcony of a hotel in Chalandri at around 5:00 a.m. Emergency responders from Greece’s National Center for Emergency Care (EKAB) arrived promptly and transported him to the Red Cross Hospital in Athens.
He remains hospitalized with multiple injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fall.
